Conference Center
The conference center is designed to seat 96 people comfortably. We have chairs and round tables that you may set up to fit your program. The stage area is set up with wall mounted jacks for our sound system and your equipment. We do have a limited amount of equipment, you may request to use. Please contact the onsite manager for more information. There are restrooms designated for women or men. We set up lemonade and water at the cabinet located in the rear of the room.
There is a tremendous need to make the Upper Room more accessible. Many folks needing to use the space are not physically able to negotiate the stairway.
The Upper Room is on the second floor of the Conference Center. It consists of four (4) beds and a private bath and is primarily used as quarters for guest speakers and clergy. Currently, a steep, narrow, spiral staircase is the only access making it difficult for anyone to maneuver with or without luggage in tow. Additionally, the two entry doors to the conference room on either side of the staircase need to be widened for easier access. Due to space restraints because of the spiral staircase, each is only only twenty-four (24) inches wide
Our plan is to remove the staircase and put in a full double door entryway into the conference room. The existing window in the Upper Room will become a three (3) foot wide door opening onto a small porch and stairway.
